BAKU CALLS US TO RECONSIDER PARITY APPROACH IN MILITARY AID TO AZERBAIJAN AND ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - The US has to reconsider its parity approach in providing military aid to Azerbaijan and Armenia, Azeri Foreign Minister Elmar Mamedyarov supposes. Addressing the Washington Center for Strategic and International Studies, Mamedyarov said he was surprised over equal military assistance being provided to "Azerbaijan, whose peacekeeping forces are in various hot spots of the world as part of the anti-terrorist coalition, and Armenia, which merely expresses support to the coalition." The Minister noted that if the US intends to continue developing cooperation with Azerbaijan in that respect, it has to display a respective approach in rendering military assistance, Azertaj news agency reported.
