Armenian parties get territorial election commission seats June 8, 2012 - 18:03 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - During its subsequent meeting, Central Election Commission of Armenia (CEC) through electronic draw distributed the posts of chairmen and secretaries of the territorial election commissions for local government elections due July 8. According to CEC press service, the posts were distributed between the parties represented at the parliament and the Armenian National Assembly Congress (ANC). The distribution was held via “Elections” electronic system. The ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) received 11 seats of chairmen and secretaries of territorial election commissions, with 8 and 2 seats going to Prosperous Armenia and ANC respectively, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, Orinats Yerkir and Heritage getting one post each.
