ARMENIAN PRESIDENT MET UN FOOD AND AGRICULTURE ORGANIZATION HEAD

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yesterday Armenian President Robert Kocharian received the delegation of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations headed by Director General Jacques Duf. As reported by the President's press service, R. Kocharian welcomed the cooperation between the FAO and Armenia and evaluated it as efficient. During the meeting the parties emphasized the importance of shifting from assistance, aiming at solution of urgent problems, to sustainable development programs. They also expressed confidence that the interaction will be long-term and efficient.
