Paper: ANC says March 1 committee should’ve looked into Oskanian case

PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Haykakan Zhamanak daily, Armenian National Congress (ANC) parliamentary group member Nikol Pashinyan answered the question about criminal case against ex-Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian on money laundering charges.

ANC member said that though he is unaware of the reasons National Security Service of Armenia summoned the former minister, he stressed the need for March 1 events investigation committee to look into Oskanian’s case, the paper says.

“I’m sure Mr. Oskanian has to testify about second and current presidents of Armenia Robert Kocharian and Serzh Sargsyan. As for money laundering, I wouldn’t be surprised if he proves to be involved in it as a member of long-term criminal government,” the daily quoted Mr. Pashinyan as saying.
