NATO Secretary General to visit Australia

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Secretary General of NATO, Mr. Anders Fogh Rasmussen, will visit Australia from June 13 till June 15, 2012.

According to a press release, during his visit, Mr. Rasmussen will meet members of the Australian Government, including Prime Minister The Rt Hon Julia Gillard and Minister of Defence The Rt Hon Stephen Smith. He will also sign, on behalf of NATO, a Joint Political Declaration between Australia and NATO.

Mr. Rasmussen will also deliver a keynote speech at the National Press Club entitled “The North Atlantic Treaty Organization and Australia – Tackling Global Security Challenges Together.”
