EU BACKS DIALOGUE BETWEEN ARMENIAN AND AZERI PRESIDENTS

PanARMENIAN.Net - The European Union supports the dialogue between the Presidents and Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, European Commission President Romano Prodi stated during a press conference in Baku. However, in his words, the EU being ready to help the conflicting parties in achieving agreement on establishment of peace as well as return and settlement of refugees is not going to interfere in the negotiation process. Mr. Prodi also emphasized that the development of democracy, domination of law and defense of human rights will remain the priority issues for the EU.
