Governor appointments to be discussed at RPA executive body meeting

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today, June 21, the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) will hold an executive body meeting, with governors’ appointments on the agenda, Yerkir paper reported.

RPA parliamentary group member Rafik Grigoryan will be appointed as Gegharkunik province governor. Though in conversation with the paper's reporter, he denied having received such an offer but he voiced readiness to take the post if the party decides so.

Vayk Mayor Harutyun Sargsyan and RPA member, Vayots Dzor deputy governor Samvel Tarverdyan are considered the most probable candidates for Vayots Dzor province governor’s post, the daily says.
