AZERI PRESIDENT CALLED OSCE CHAIRMAN-IN-OFFICE TO ACTIVATE EFFORTS FOR KARABAKH SETTLEMENT

PanARMENIAN.Net - In the course of yesterday's meeting with OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Bulgarian Foreign Minister Solomon Passy in New York Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev touched upon issues referring to Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement. As reported the Baku press, during the conversation the Azeri leader called the OSCE Chairman-in-Office to maximally activate efforts for resolving the problem. It should be noted that in the course of his visit to the US, which will last till September 26, the Azeri President is expected to meet with UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan.
