ARTUR BAGHDASARIAN AND SERGEY MIRONOV SIGNED STATEMENT ON JOINT FIGHT AGAINST TERROR

PanARMENIAN.Net - On the invitation of the Chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia the Russian delegation, headed by Chairman of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the country Sergey Mironov. In the course of the meeting the Speakers specifically discussed questions of inter-regional cooperation, activities of the inter-parliamentary commission, as well as signed the joint statement on fight against terror, agreed upon beforehand. The Russian delegation also visited the monument to victims of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey and laid a wreath to the memorial. Then a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Andranik Margarian was held. October 2 the Chairman of the upper chamber of the Russian Parliament will meet with President Robert Kocharian, as well as will participate in the opening ceremony of the Armenian-Russian Center for Regional Cooperation.
