Paper: MPs deny spending state funds to pay traffic fines![]() June 26, 2012 - 11:25 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Yerkir paper, most traffic rule violation fines were imposed on state institutions including Armenian National Assembly. RA Parliament’s Public Relations and Media Department addressed a letter to the paper, saying no money out of National Assembly’s funds was aimed at paying traffic fines in 2012. “NA-employed drivers bear personal responsibility for the traffic violations, paying the fines themselves,” the letter ran. Cars for standing committee and parliamentary group heads are considered the parliament’s property, with traffic police informing National Assembly, not the violators, the paper says. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
