As reported by the Armenian parliamentary press service, in the course of the meeting Armenian National Assembly Vice-Speaker Vahan Hovhannisian and Chairman of the Armenian parliamentary permanent commission for defense, national security and internal affairs Mher Shahgeldian expressed hope for the discussion of the drafts referring to defense and security problems to be efficient. During the meeting bills on police, control of radioactive substance turnover, struggle against terrorism, crime and illegal turnover of drugs were discussed and approved. It should be noted that commission next sitting will be held in Saint Petersburg November 4-5.
