Justice Minister: Armenia determined to proceed its on way to EU membership

PanARMENIAN.Net - The 3rd sitting of Armenia-EU Subcommittee on Justice, Freedoms and Security is ongoing in Yerevan.

Opening the sitting, Justice Minister Hrayr Tovmasyan stressed that Armenia-EU cooperation was lifted to a new level. “Armenia is determined to proceed on its way to EU membership,” he stressed.

The Minister went on to brief those present on leadership-implemented judicial reforms, noting a perceptible progress in Armenia’s judicial system.

The Armenian official thanked the EU for its assistance in reforms described, pledging to continue the work initiated. “We set curbing bureaucracy and corruption in government-citizen interactions as our main goal,” he stressed.
