President, MEPs discuss Armenia’s European integrationJune 28, 2012 - 18:13 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On the sidelines of his visit to Brussels, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with European Parliament's (EP) foreign affairs committee chair Elmar Brok and European People's Party (EPP) parliamentary group vice-chair Ioannis Kasoulides. The parties pointed out the meeting as a great occasion to discuss strengthening of inteparliamentary ties as well as Armenia’s European integration. The parties further focused on Armenia-EU cooperation, with President Sargsyan briefing EP officials on reforms implemented in Armenia. Armenian President is in Brussels to attend European People's Party session. A meeting with EPP President Wilfried Martens is also on Armenian leader’s agenda.
