Armenia in talks with Korea, China to create joint IT centers![]() July 9, 2012 - 13:45 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia is negotiating creation of joint IT centers with the governments of Korea and China, Enterprise Incubator Foundation director said. As Bagrat Yengibaryan told a news conference in Yerevan, “Korean delegation, including 5 IT and e-marketing specialists, will arrive in Armenia for talks in the 2nd halfyear of 2012.” Armenian-Indian Center for Excellence in ICT was launched at Yerevan State University in November 2011, with over 300 IT experts having completed their training at the center. Yerevan will host the 2024 edition of the World Congress On Information Technology (WCIT). Rustam Badasyan said due to the lack of such regulation, the state budget is deprived of VAT revenues.
