No alternative to Karabakh conflict peaceful resolution – OSCE Sec. Gen.

PanARMENIAN.Net - There is no alternative to peaceful resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, OSCE Secretary General and Armenia’s Foreign Minister stated.

As Lamberto Zannier said during a joint press conference with Edward Nalbandian, his visit to Armenia is a part of a regional visit and he will repeat his call for peace in Baku as well.

Mr. Zannier reiterated his concerns over the recent incidents at the line of contact and called on the conflicting sides to refrain from any kind of hostilities, “although the current status-quo is not a solution to the problem.”

He also called for stronger monitoring activity, withdrawal of snipers and investigation into the incidents as well as establishment of a civil dialogue.
