Sociologist: Bako Sahakyan to gain 75% of votes in NKR presidential race![]() July 17, 2012 - 14:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The incumbent leader of Artsakh Republic, Bako Sahakyan will gain 75% of votes in the first round of the upcoming presidential election, according to the head of Sociometr center. “There will be no second round, as Sahakyan will be backed by overwhelming majority,” Aharon Adibekyan told a press conference in Yerevan. According to him, Sahakyan’s main rival Vitaly Balasanyan will get 20% of votes while Arkady Soghomonyan will be supported by 5% of the voters. Artsakh will hold presidential election on July 19. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
