Over 100 observers registered at NKR presidential polls![]() July 18, 2012 - 12:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Over 100 observers, including 80 international monitors, have been registered for July 19 presidential elections in Nagorno Karabakh Republic. The international observers have arrived from Armenia, U.S. Russia, Israel, unrecognized CIS states, NKR Central Electoral Commission told PanARMENIAN.Net 93 journalists, with 50 representing foreign media have been accredited to the polls. 274 electoral districts are open in NKR and 1 in Yerevan-located NKR permanent representation. 3 candidates to run for NKR presidency are: current leader Bako Sahakyan; NKR MP, ex-deputy defense minister Vitaly Balasanyan; Armenian State Agrarian University’s Stepanakert Subsidiary pro-rector Arkady Soghomonyan. The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington. The CSTO budget for the current year requires adjustments due to the refusal of Yerevan to pay their share of contributions. Six total incidents have burned 19 old-growth trees. Friday night 8 trees were torched along the beautiful main entrance.
