Prosperous Armenia deputy ministers, governors resign posts

PanARMENIAN.Net - Deputy ministers and governors from Prosperous Armenia party issued a statement announcing resignation of their posts.

“Following May 6 parliamentary elections, Prosperous Armenia refused to join the coalition. Committed to the party’s political decision, we announce our resignation. The determination to continue on the posts was exclusively conditioned by readiness to complete the ongoing projects. We commend ministers and administration heads for the activities accomplished and wish them success,” the statement reads.

Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Romik Tigranyan, Deputy Minister of Urban Development Ruben Sinoyan, Deputy Agriculture Minister of Agriculture Vardan Karapetyan, deputy governors of Lori and Aragatsotn provinces Edik Karakhanyan and Manafas Arakelyan signed under the statement.
