Liturgies in memory of slain Armenian military doctor held in Europe![]() August 6, 2012 - 19:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Forum of Armenian Associations of Europe (FAAE) has organized candle lighting ceremonies and liturgies in European countries in memory of slain military doctor Vahe Avetyan. On August 5, a liturgy was served in Vienna’s Armenian church, with candle lighting ceremonies held in Prague, Brussels, London, Paris, Frankfurt and Berlin. Major Vahe Avetyan, head of ENT Department of the Yerevan Garrison Hospital, severely beaten up in Harsnakar restaurant died on June 29, at approx. 6:30 pm local time. The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
