Armenia’s Communist Party to nominate 6 candidates for local elections

PanARMENIAN.Net - United Communist Party of Armenia will nominate 6 candidates for September 9 local elections, the party head said.

As Ruben Tovmasyan told a press conference, the small number of the candidates is explained by the lack of relevant financial means.

He further voiced confidence in Communist Party’s victory in case of fair elections.

“Anti-communist hysteria has not subsided,” he said, adding that in their assessment European observers recorded violations at May parliamentary elections.
