NKR PRESIDENT: NO ISSUE CAN BE SOLVED WITHOUT KARABAKH PEOPLE AND AUTHORITIES

PanARMENIAN.Net - No issue can be solved without the Nagorno Karabakh people and authorities, NKR President Arkady Ghukasian told journalists in Yerevan. He again confirmed that NKR authorities abide by the package option of solution of the problem, saying that, as stated before, the stepwise solution is not logical, as "it is not known what we can expect in the future." At the same time the President noted that he does not rule out the opportunity for some issues to have a stepwise solution. In his words, one should start from the causes of the confrontation, not its consequences. At that he noted that the conflict was available when there were neither refugees, nor "occupied territories." "Having solved the issue of the status we will facilitate the solution of the rest of the issues," A. Ghukasian said.
