Armenia posts 7,2% economic activity index in July![]() August 20, 2012 - 15:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s economic activity index in July 2012 totaled 7,2%, growing by 10,3% as compared to June 2012, according to the National Statistical Service of Armenia. In July 2012, consumer prices grew by 2,3%, with 1,5% deflation recorded on a monthly basis. The national budget envisages 4,2% economic activity growth, and 4±1,5% inflation for 2012. ![]() ![]() Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”. Armenia will loan 2.9 billion drams to Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh), according to a draft government decision. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has “strongly condemned” Armenia’s decision.
