  Heritage urges Armenian voters to back opposition at local elections August 20, 2012 - 18:43 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Heritage opposition party has nominated a number of candidates for local government elections due September 9. The party called on the voters to cast their ballots for opposition candidates, hoping Armenians will back its nominees. Heritage will endorse ARF Dashnaktsutyun’s candidate Hovsep Simonyan at the upcoming Gyumri mayoral race, the party’s press service reported. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
