Expert deems Aznavour’s concert in Georgia improper

PanARMENIAN.Net - French Armenian singer Charles Aznavour shouldn’t have given a concert in Akhaltsikhe, Georgia, political analyst Sergey Shakaryants said.

“Aznavour was well aware of Armenian political prisoners kept in Akhaltsikhe. He should have known about harassment against Javakhk’s Armenian community both as RA envoy to Switzerland and as ordinary Armenian. Instead, he gave a concert in Akhaltsikhe as a French citizen. He acted as a Western celebrity,” the expert said.
