Cultural events in Armenian Defense Ministry to kick off Aug. 31![]() August 30, 2012 - 19:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - At the initiative of Yerevan State University (YSU) Young Students’ Union NGO and Armenian Ministry of Defense, on Aug. 31, a series of lectures and cultural events dedicated to 20th anniversary of RA armed forces formation will kick off in Yerevan August 30. The program, to be implemented through support of parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, will feature visits to a number of RA border and Artsakh defense army units, with YSU teaching staff and students to come up with lectures on history of Armenian armed forces formation. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
