Armenia wins 4 medals in European Ship Modeling Championship![]() August 31, 2012 - 14:36 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A team representing Armenian Education Ministry’s Technical Modeling Center have won 2 gold medals, 1 silver and 1 bronze, setting a world record at Bulgaria-hosted European Ship Modeling Championship. Babken Shahazizyan’s win of two gold and one silver medal was announced the best achievement of the championship, with Gayane Shahazizyan grabbing bronze. Apart from Armenia, the event brought together teams from England, France, Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Hungary and other countries. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
