VLADIMIR ZHIRINOVSKY APOLOGIZED FOR STATEMENTS ON KARABAKH, AZERI DAILY SAYS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Vice Speaker of the Russian State Duma Vladimir Zhirinovsky apologized for his statements on the necessity of including Karabakh, which is Armenia's historical part, into the CIS, Express Azeri daily reports. According to the daily, the editorial staff received a letter in which Zhirinovsky writes that he suggested Nagorno Karabakh be included in the CIS and then annexed to Azerbaijan. "I did not mean that Karabakh must be recognized as an independent state", Zhirinovsky noted, Express writes.
