France to cut state spending by 10bln euros next year![]() September 7, 2012 - 13:44 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - France will cut state spending by 10 billion euros next year, excluding interest payments on its debt and pensions, as it strives to meet a deficit target of 3 percent of gross domestic product (GDP), President Francois Hollande said on Friday, Sept 7. "Spending, excluding debt servicing and pensions, will be stabilized in nominal terms which will allow us to save more than 10 billion euros ($12.64 billion)," Hollande said in a speech at the state auditor's offices, according to Reuters. Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”. Armenia will loan 2.9 billion drams to Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh), according to a draft government decision. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has “strongly condemned” Armenia’s decision.
