MONITOR OPPOSITION JOURNAL EDITOR-IN-CHIEF ELMAR GUSEYNOV KILLED IN BAKU

PanARMENIAN.Net - Editor-in-Chief and founder of Monitor opposition journal Elmar Guseynov is killed in Baku. As reported by Azerbaijan law-enforcement

bodies, Guseynov was killed March 2 at about 9:00 p.m. Baku time. Criminal proceedings were instituted against Guseynov several times, the journal headed by him was fined by court decisions. The Monitor - "a journal of free people" was lately being issued in four thousand copies. The main topics of its publications were studies of biographies of well-known political figures of the country, public, political and economic subjects. The Center for Geo-Economic Research was the founder of the journal.
