As reported by Azerbaijan law-enforcementbodies, Guseynov was killed March 2 at about 9:00 p.m. Baku time. Criminal proceedings were instituted against Guseynov several times, the journal headed by him was fined by court decisions. The Monitor - "a journal of free people" was lately being issued in four thousand copies.
