VLADIMIR RUSHAYLO MET WITH ARMENIAN DEFENSE MINISTER

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee, Executive Secretary Vladimir Rushaylo has met with Secretary of the National Security Council under the Armenian President, Defense Minister of Armenia Serge Sargsian. "I think the CIS has fulfilled its role," Serge Sargsian stated. In the course of the meeting the interlocutors discussed a range of issues referring to optimization of enhancement of efficiency of

cooperation of the CIS countries, the CIS Defense Ministries and joint anti-aircraft defense system. The parties also discussed the program of

events within the framework of the celebration of the 60-th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. As Chairman of the Commission for

celebration of the 60-th anniversary of the Victory Serge Sargsian in detail presented the program of events in Armenia, specifically

underscoring that a monument to admiral Isakov will be established in Isakov Avenue May 9, and monuments to marshals Babajanian and Khudyakov will be erected within the next three years.
