He will join Shia LaBeouf and Charlotte Gainsbourg in the Lars von Trier sexual drama, Digital Spy reported citing Variety. The film charts the erotic history of narrator and self-diagnosed nymphomaniac Joe (Gainsbourg) from birth to the age of 50. Slater will portray her father. Stellan Skarsgard, Jamie Bell, Stacy Martin and Connie Nielsen will also appear in the film. The film is planned to be released in two versions under R and NC-17 ratings respectively, with the former containing more sexually explicit content. Slater was most recently seen in television series Breaking In. Filming on Nymphomaniac is already underway in Cologne.
