VLADIMIR RUSHAYLO: CIS CAN TAKE CERTAIN STEPS FOR KARABAKH CONFLICT SETTLEMENT

PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of the CIS Executive Committee, Executive Secretary Vladimir Rushaylo did not rule out that "with an appropriate order issued the CIS can undertake certain steps in expert or any other direction" for the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. At the same time he stressed that the OSCE MG is playing a key role in the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict though a number of international structures have joined the discussions on the problem recently. When commenting on the proposal of Russian Duma Vice Speaker Vladimir Zhirinovsky on including Karabakh in the CIS, V. Rushaylo noted, "We have not received any precise orders in this view so far, consequently there is no point in commenting declarations by Vladimir Zhirinovsky or any other politician at present time."
