Modern Armenian art exhibition to open in YerevanSeptember 17, 2012 - 17:00 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On September 18, the Armenian Center for Contemporary Experimental Art will host the opening of the exhibition titled “9 artists + 20 years”. The event, organized and coordinated by Sonia Palasanyan, will bring together 45 art historians. The exhibition will feature an open air concert and screening of a documentary “Gilan after Hail”. On Sept 29, the center will host a festival, with about 15 Armenian authors to participate. As Ms. Palasanyan noted, the event aims to go beyond the geo-political framework and smooth out the differences. “Thant’s a challenge to political ideologies, constant political changes and instability in the modern world,” she said.
