Netflix announces improved service for iOS 5 users (video) September 19, 2012 - 20:30 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Netflix has announced an improved service for Apple device owners with new software for iPhone and iPod Touch, Digital Spy said. The update, available for users running iOS 5 or higher, includes an updated browser menu showing extensive lists of genre galleries, personalised title recommendations and more. The software provides a similar experience to the Netflix tablet application, granting users access to more titles and galleries than was previously shown on smartphones. "The first thing you'll notice about our new experience is how many more movies and TV shows there are in our new interface - many, many more than we had before," said Netflix director of product information Chris Jaffe. Last month, Netflix announced that it has passed the milestone of one million members in the UK and Ireland seven months after it launched in the territory. The new Netflix application is now available to download from the App Store. Top stories Yerevan will host the 2024 edition of the World Congress On Information Technology (WCIT).
