SLOVAK NEWLY-APPOINTED AMBASSADOR HANDED CREDENTIALS TO ARMENIAN PRESIDENTMarch 15, 2005 - 09:19 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Today newly-appointed Slovak Ambassador to Armenia Augustin Cesar handed his credentials to Armenian President Robert Kocharian, the Press Service of the Armenian President reported. In the course of the meeting Robert Kocharian noted that Armenia is grateful to Slovakia for passing a resolution condemning the Armenian Genocide a few months ago. In his words, the relations between Armenia and Slovakia are one of the most successful among those of Armenia with the Eastern European countries. In his turn, the Ambassador noted that in the course of his diplomatic activities in Armenia he will do his best to further develop the relations between the two countries, specifically in economy. In his words, Slovakia will continue promoting Armenia's Euro-integration.Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
