Luis Orlando DelValle: I’ll give Darchinyan boxing lesson

PanARMENIAN.Net - Luis Orlando DelValle (Puerto Rico) said that the September 29 fight against three-time champion Vic Darchinyan in Mashantucket, Conn. will be the most significant one in his career, Recordonline reported.

“I’ll give Darchinyan a boxing lesson. Everyone is going to be talking about me after this fight,'' the boxer said.

According to Recordonline, DelValle, 25 (16-0, 11 KOs) needs no reminder of Darchinyan's credentials and experience.

He has carved a terrific prizefighting career through skill and toughness and aggression. Darchinyan, 36 (37-5-1, 27 KOs), is looking for another title shot. He is coming off consecutive 12-round unanimous decision defeats to opponents with a combined record of 46-1-3 — Japan's Shinsuke Yamanaka in April and Anselmo Moreno in December.

"He is going to try to bully me,'' DelValle said."He is going to come raging like a bull. I am going to go out against him like a matador. Speed kills power. No matter what range he fights, outside or inside, I am the faster man.''
