ARMENIAN-BELARUS BUSINESS FORUM TO BE HELD IN MINSK IN 2005

PanARMENIAN.Net - Bilateral inter-state and inter-parliamentary relations were discussed in Yerevan by Armenian National Assembly Spokesman Artur Baghdasarian and head of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Konoplyov, Rengum news agency reported. The tete-a-tete meeting then continued into a full staff one. The parties emphasized the importance of development of inter-parliamentary cooperation, productive work of the Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Commission, which will promote the functioning of the legal and contact framework, the making of inter-regional relations. The importance of cooperation within international organizations, in economy, science, culture was also accentuated. It was noted that this year a business forum will be organized in Minsk and Belarus Culture Days will be held in Yerevan. In his speech Vladimir Konoplyov noted that friendly relations are established between the two countries. In his words, the relations have a big potential, the parties do not have political problems, and there are opportunities to develop commercial and economic cooperation. In conclusion of the meeting Artur Baghdasarian and Vladimir Konoplyov signed a joint Protocol on Cooperation.
