ARMENIAN-GERMAN INTERGOVERNMENTAL COMMISSION TO SIT IN APRIL

PanARMENIAN.Net - The sitting of the Armenian-German intergovernmental commission on financial and technical cooperation will be held in Germany April 18-20, IA Regnum reports. The issues regarding the agenda of the upcoming sitting were today discussed by Armenian Minister of Finance and Economy Vardan Khachatrian and KfW Regional Director for Caucasus Leon Macioszek. For already several years the governments of Armenia and Germany have been implementing a number of programs directed to the development of energy and water industry. According to the data provided by the National Statistical Service of Armenia, the commodity turnover between Armenia and Germany in 2004 made $157 million the figure being 78% more than that in year 2003. The share of the Armenian export to Germany within the general commodity turnover made $83 million while import showed the figure of $75 million.
