Armenian, German Foreign Ministries hold Berlin-hosted consultationsSeptember 30, 2012 - 17:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Ministry delegation led by deputy foreign minister Zohrab Mnatsakanian arrived in Berlin on September 27 to participate in the two countries’ ministerial consultations. The special representative of Foreign Ministry for East Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia Affairs Antye Lendertze held political consultations on the German side. At the meeting, the parties focused on the prospect of the development of bilateral ties, with Mr. Mnatsakanian briefing the German official on Armenia-EU ties as well as the progress of Association Agreement and free trade zone negotiations. The parties further focused on regional issues, including the recent release of Azeri axe-killer Ramil Safarov, with Mr. Mnatsakanian presenting Armenia’s position on the issue.
