SCR conducts fall technical inspectionOctober 2, 2012 - 14:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - From October 2-30, South Caucasus Railways (SCR) will conduct fall technical inspection for passing to 2012-2013 winter mode. The company will hold inspection of track, roadbed and structures, devices of power, automation, remote control and communications by November 15. The inspections envisage testing of the fire safety facilities and equipment ensuring the safety of trains. The commission will also focus on the preparation of snow clearing activities at major hubs and stations, implementation of repairs, winter trainings, preparing service and technical buildings and utilities and creation of conditions of work and rest for the railwaymen.
