Turkish parliament to debate Syrian cross-border motion

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Turkish government will bring up a Syrian cross-border motion to the parliament today, Oct 4, an initiative to be apparently opposed by the opposition, Hürriyet Daily News reported.

The motion was brought to the cabinet last night and will be on the agenda at a special meeting scheduled for today.

Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) members have decided to vote against the motion following a group meeting in the early hours of the day, according to sources.
