As Gagik Beglaryan told journalists, despite public discussions of the issue, it hasn’t been debated at the Transport Ministry. “Should the issue become discussed officially, the fact will be announced,” he noted. Recently, a possible increase in transport tariffs has been rumored, giving rise to public concern. Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”. Armenia will loan 2.9 billion drams to Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh), according to a draft government decision. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has “strongly condemned” Armenia’s decision.
