Body of killed Mexico drug cartel leader stolen

PanARMENIAN.Net - The body of the slain leader of the Zetas drug cartel has been stolen from a funeral parlour by an armed group after he was killed in a shootout with authorities in northern Mexico, a state prosecutor said, according to AFP.

The Mexican navy, which conducted the operation against the Zetas leader, said fingerprints and photographs had been used to identify the body as Heriberto Lazcano's before it was stolen.
