Coach: Armenia must play balanced football

PanARMENIAN.Net - Only one player in Italy national football squad is still unknown, Armenia coach said.

“Italy team will hold a training in the evening, with the player to become known already today,” Vardan Minasyan said, stressing the importance of demonstrating tactically correct football in match vs. Italy.

“Armenia had a team practice session October 10 at Hrazdan Stadium, which was no different than the one in Republican Stadium. I hope thousands of fans from different cities and Diaspora will support Armenia at the upcoming match,” Minasyan said.

“Armenia has recently displayed better defensive football than attacking one. Our task is to create balance and make the best effort to show a spectacular game,” the coach said.

Armenia vs. Italy World Cup 2014 qualifier is scheduled for October 12, at Yerevan’s Hrazdan stadium.
