No Erdogan-Ahmadinejad Baku meeting scheduled

PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will not hold a separate meeting during the upcoming ECO Summit in Baku, Hurriyet Daily News reported.

Both leaders will be attending the summit, but no special meeting has been arranged between them.

The lack of correspondence between the leaders follows a worsening of relations due to their opposite policies on Syria.

Erdogan is, however, set to meet the leaders of Tajikistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan while in Baku.
