Paper: Sargsyan, Kocharian deem Armen Gevorgyan best PM candidate![]() October 16, 2012 - 12:23 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - During their last meeting Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and his predecessor Robert Kocharian took a final decision on the next Prime Minister’s post, Chorrord Ishkhanutyun daily reported. After a long contemplation both pointed to Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan as the most acceptable candidate for all political teams, the paper says. Meanwhile, the current Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan has started taking rumors about his possible dismissal for granted, noting that no post lasts forever. He may re-assume a position in the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) instead, the daily says. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
