Paper: ex-Minister of Urban Development may be prosecuted![]() October 16, 2012 - 16:04 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Hraparak daily, former Minister of Urban Development, Prosperous Armenia party member Vardan Vardanyan won’t be able to get away with a police questioning in a case of major violations exposed in the Ministry. A criminal case is being instigated against Vardanyan, the paper said, citing some rumors. “However, the criminal case may be avoided, should a “solution” be found, with return of misappropriated sums into the state budget as one of the possibilities,” the daily said. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has met with Stephan Schütz, Executive Partner at Gerkan, Marg and Partners.
