Armavia says Zvartnots disapproves of its new shareholder

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian national carrier Armavia is making the necessary payments, the air company told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

Armavia company representative conditioned the suspension of Zvartnots airport’s services to the air company by the airport’s disapproval of the new shareholder.

Today, October 17, Yerevan’s Zvartnots airport said it again halted the servicing of Armavia air company flights over the latter’s debts.

According to Zvartnots spokesman, Gevorg Abrahamyan, the amount of Armavia’s debt exceeded the sum agreed on for over $1 million, bringing the total debt to $3,360 million.
