15 FOREIGN DELEGATIONS TO TAKE PART IN MOURNING PROCESSION IN YEREVAN APRIL 24

PanARMENIAN.Net - A large-scale program of events is planned in Armenia on the occasion of the 90-th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanians stated in the course of a press conference today. In his words, the Armenian Genocide: Reality and Condemnation scientific forum organized by the National academy of Sciences of Armenia will put the start for the program April 18-19. As noted by Oskanian, Ultimate Crime, Ultimate Challenge: Human Rights and Genocide conference will be held in Yerevan April 20-21. In his words, the 1.5-million procession and the laying of wreaths to the Memorial of the Armenian Genocide Victims will be the main event. As noted by Mr. Oskanian, official delegations from 15 states will take part in the mourning procession this year. In his words, cultural events are also planned in Armenia. Thus, commemoration evening of the Genocide victims will be organized at the Yerevan Opera and Ballet Theater April 23. Films on genocide will be screened from April 18-30 at Moscow cinema.
