Preliminary deal for Armenia-EU visa facilitation inked in Brussels![]() PanARMENIAN.Net - The head of the Armenian representation to EU, Ambassador Avet Adonts and European Commission Director General for Development Stefano Manservisi signed preliminary agreements on facilitation of Armenia-EU visa regime and readmission in Brussels. The finalized agreements are expected to be signed in December 2012 to be ratified in the first half year of 2013. The first agreement envisages facilitation of Schengen visa requirements for Armenian citizens, as well as more lenient terms for EU travel for Armenian officials, journalists, sportsmen, etc. Readmission agreement will regulate the return and readmission for those living in EU and Armenia without permission. The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington. The CSTO budget for the current year requires adjustments due to the refusal of Yerevan to pay their share of contributions. Six total incidents have burned 19 old-growth trees. Friday night 8 trees were torched along the beautiful main entrance.
